1. Is your system right for my organization?
That is a difficult question to answer because it depends a great deal on your organization's requirements and budget. If any of the following are true, then our system is probably a very good bet.
  • You have a large workforce (several hundred to several thousand employees)
  • You have some complex rules such as accruals, shift, overtime, and pay policies
  • You need to track time against projects, tasks, departments, etc.
  • You are looking for a high degree of automation
  • You want to deploy a sophisticated product with little or no custom programming
2. Can the system meet our organization's policies?
We are more than happy to analyze your requirements and let you know how our system can accommodate your needs.
 
3. Is this an ASP/hosted solution? Or do I run the system on my own servers?
Although most customers choose to run the software on their own hardware, we also provide an ASP option. For more information, please contact us.
 
4. How much does the software cost?
 
Pricing for the software depends on your organization's size and requirements. We are focused on building a large, successful customer base. We therefore believe that you won't find a more economical solution for the type of capabilities offered in our system. To get a price quote, please contact us

System Requirements
 
1. What are the hardware requirements for your application?
On the desktop, you only need a compatible browser (Internet Explorer 5.x and higher, or Netscape 4.x).
On the server, any platform that supports Java is able to run our software, including Windows NT, Windows 2000, Unix, Linux, Solaris, HP/UX, OpenVMS, AS/400, and others. For more information on certified platforms, please contact us.
 
You will also need to run a DBMS system (SQL Server or Oracle) -- see below for more details.
 
Memory and disk space requirements vary depending on usage patterns and employee counts. Minimum requirements are 256 MB of RAM and 1 GB of disk
 
2. What are the software requirements for your application?
The client component is pure HTML and can run on any popular browser, including Internet Explorer (Windows or Macintosh) and Netscape Navigator (Windows, Macintosh, and any Unix platform).
 
Microsoft SQL Server 7, SQL Server 2000, and Oracle 8.x DBMS systems have been certified with our application and may be run on any platform supported by these vendors. Support for DB2, Sybase, and other DBMS systems is also possible.
 
System Features
 
1. Can my employees report time on an electronic timesheet without using a time clock?
Sure. Employees can report time through our online time sheets. In fact, different employees can report time in different ways.
 
2. Can I collect time from my employees at a time clock or badge reader?
Yes, time can be collected with one of a variety of compatible badge readers (bar code, magnetic strip, bio-metric, etc).
 
3. Can I collect time from my employees at a common (kiosk) touch screen PC?
Yes, we have interfaces to several touch screen PCs.
 
4. Can my employees punch in/out and have the computer record the correct time?
Yes, there is a TimeClock feature of the system that automatically logs the time employees punch in and out.
 
5. Can the system track labor information (project, tasks, accounting code, department, etc.)?
Yes, employees can enter labor distribution information or the system can default it based on their employee demographics. Labor distribution fields are unlimited in number and completely configurable. Features such as commonly used charge codes, defaults, and restrictions on usage are all a part of our software.
 
6. Can there be multiple approval levels?
The software permits employees to approve their own time sheet (if they log into the system), and/or multiple manager approvals.

1. Can the system interface to my HR or payroll system?
We provide a variety of standard interfaces to/from HR, payroll, and scheduling systems such as ADP PC/Payroll for Windows running SQL or Oracle, HRizon, and Oracle HRMS. Interfaces to other leading systems such as Lawson, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, etc, or custom systems can also be provided. Our system also has an XML and comma separated interface capability to move data between other applications.
 
2. What kind of security does the system have? Our product utilizes a secure ID/password scheme to protect information our application from unauthorized access. Integration with your existing Windows, LDAP, or other security systems are also possible.
 
3. What kind of support options are offered?
Both standard business hours support and 24x7 options are available. The support agreement provides you with the following:
  • Access to our staff via telephone or e-mail to ask questions about the software.
  • Problem reporting via telephone, e-mail, or our World Wide Web support site.
  • Access to our problem resolution database on our World Wide Web support site.
  • Software updates to correct application problems.
  • Guaranteed response times based on your requirements.
  • Guaranteed support of a version of software for a period of least 3 years.
 
4. Is the system scalable? How many employees can it handle?
The software is specifically designed to be scalable and support large employee populations. The solution is a multi-tiered, web based, time and attendance system designed for larger organizations. The system is designed to handle upwards of 25,000 employees. Deployment across multiple servers for scalability and reliability is also available.

Our system potentially supports a huge number of employees, and it can handle any conceivable policies your customers might have. In that sense, it is definitely a good solution to offer.
