Time and Attendance Software Support

 Intercom of America, Inc. helps you evaluate evaluate the technology behind our time and attendance software system.  You should look for the following characteristics in any enterprise class system that will be widely deployed.

  • Open standards. Look for wide industry acceptance of the development tools, DBMS, and other components of the application. XML interfaces should be available for easy integration with other systems.
  • Scalability. Only a multi-tiered design can support hundreds or thousands of concurrent users. Even if you don't need a scalable system today, you may tomorrow as your organization grows.
  • Thin client/web based. Lightweight client software accessible via a web browser to eliminate workstation installation costs and provides a familiar user interface for your users.
  • SQL Relational Database. Look for support of leading products like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
